About the designer

The person behind the parts.

Add personal photo

I work best at the point where an idea stops being a sketch and starts being a decision — material, tolerance, cost, how it actually feels in someone's hand. I'd rather test a rough foam mockup than argue over a render.

Every project on this page went through the same loop: understand the person who'll actually use the thing, build the simplest version that proves the idea, then refine it against real feedback — not assumptions.

I care about the details other people scroll past. That habit of noticing what's missing before anyone else does is the same one that got me Asia Pacific University's "Most Supportive Student" award — and it's the one I bring into every product I design.

Profile

Built to take things apart —
and put them back together, better.

As a child I took my toys apart and rebuilt them the way I thought they should have been made. Industrial design is the first field I found where that instinct becomes a method: understand what a person is actually struggling with, then build a physical thing that answers it.

I grew up moving between schools in Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Qatar, and now study at one of Malaysia's most international universities. Adapting to each new environment made me a listener before it made me a designer — and taught me to explain and defend an idea in front of an audience that doesn't share my references.

My core work is 3D and physical: SolidWorks, KeyShot, and prototyping in wood, metal, foam and clay. Around it I've built up graphic design, photography, sculpting and interface design, because a product still has to be explained, photographed and sold.
